Lifestyle, the one-stop-shop in Hyderabad

What you see – Approximately 40,000 square feet and spanning two floors, Lifestyle, Hyderabad sure has a whole lot under one roof. Walk in even on a weekday during office hours and don’t be surprised to see quite a large number of busy shoppers. Located in Begumpet, one of the busiest shopping areas in Hyderabad, the store has upped the city’s cool quotient. The store has its own employees, who are all dressed uniformly in brown striped shirts and black trousers. They are extremely courteous and helpful and if they aren’t sure of what you want they’ll find you someone who does. And each brand has their own set of staff, as well, dressed in different uniforms.

What you get – As you enter, on the ground floor, to your left is a whole range of billing counters. Beside it are the many counters for watches and sunglasses, which include brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Esprit, Pierre Cardin, Citizen, DKNY, Swatch and Tissot to name a few.

The men’s section, too, is right here and has quite a huge collection of branded clothing in formal, semi-formal, casual, innerwear etc. To your right is a whole range of international cosmetic and perfume counters, among which are Revlon, Lakme, Chambor, Maybelline, Max Factor and among the perfumes, Valentino, Calvin Klien, Davidoff, Escada, Dior, Versace and more.

Right next to this are the women’s apparel counters and accessory counters. The women’s apparel too has a wide range of branded and designer clothing. The accessories available are earrings, necklaces, hair clips and more. There are enough trial rooms thereby not causing too much of a queue. There’s also a designer jewelry counter at the entrance with some stunning pieces on display.

On the first floor is the kid’s collection of clothing and toys. There’s a whole range of kiddy things from basinets and cuddly teddy bears to DVDs for the children. Next to this is the whole assortment of home accessories like vases, candle stands, bowls, dinner sets, different wine and champagne crystal sets, home furnishings and a whole lot more. They also have a range of furniture like beds, sofa sets etc.

On the same floor is the footwear section for men, women and children. The collection is quite wide and ranges from party to office wear. There’s also a wide collection of branded handbags and wallets, starting from the affordable to expensive range. And to avoid long queues downstairs, there are billing counters up here as well.

After all that shopping and carrying of those heavy bags you’re going to need a cup of coffee and maybe a snack too. Well, they’ve thought of that as well ‘cause there’s a Café Coffee Day right there on the first floor.

Our verdict – Lifestyle has something for everyone. Their price ranges are also affordable. In fact we were told by visitors from other cities that Lifestyle, Hyderabad has great variety in accessories and perfumes and those are must-buys. There’s ample parking space for everyone. Getting to the parking lot though maybe a little tricky as it’s on a one-way making it difficult for all those coming down from the flyover. For a first-timer getting into the building from the parking lot maybe a little confusing too. Better to get down at the entrance itself. On the whole we recommend Lifestyle for a fun filled shopping experience.
