prasads da best place for movies... sound quality and da picture quality is superb i suggest if any one wanna watch a movie u must visit prasads .. for movies it is da best place but da stores dere are not dat worth of if you compare it wid PVR da stores over dere are much better dan PRASADS .. but after all who is worried abt da stores when one has come explicity to watch movie... in my view prasads is da best place to watch movie... ...more

good place to hang out

its a good place to hang out.you can feel the difference of watching movie in i max. with good chairs,audio and viedio and everything is osomme.but the food a bit costly. its very difficult to get tickets for the new movie....more

IMAX hmm u would find guys like me who bunk college and hang out with friends here. hope my parents dont turn up the day i am bunking college and catch me red handed hanging out with my friends. What you see - Prasads, a family-entertainment center, with four movie theatres, an IMAX theatre, shopping facilities and food courts, is strategically located in the heart of the metro on the banks of the Hussain Sagar Lake. Off NTR Gardens, Prasads has been promoted by the L V Prasad Group and is spread across an area of 2,35,000 square feet.

What you get - Its specialty is the 72 x 92 feet, 635-seat capacity IMAX theatre which has entertained lakhs of visitors since its launch in July 2003. The powerful film projector and a six-channel sound system with a capacity of 12,000 watts of digital surround sound, make IMAX movie-viewing an experience of a kind.

Prasads also houses a multiplex with a combined capacity of about 180 seats. Equipped with the latest sound and projection technology, the theatres offer plush, comfortable and world-class ambience.

With regard to satisfying the taste-buds, Prasads has roped in vendors like Ohri’s Food Court which provides a scrumptious spread of multi-cuisine food and McDonald’s which is perpetually flooded even on weekdays.

As far as shopping is concerned you could opt between domestic and global names like Lee, Pepe Jeans, Diwan Saheb and Indigo Nation. Its other attractions include the Scary House for the bold at heart and Rock-climbing for the adventurous kind.

Our verdict - Visit the place with your entire family for a day filled with movies, shopping, food and fun. However, ensure that you reach the place ahead of your counterparts to get a good parking spot. Also, avoid visiting it on weekends.
