What you see – Anonym is a designer women’s wear boutique housed in an old bungalow. This store in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad is located on the first floor while the restaurant, Little Italy hosts its guests on the ground floor. Both, Anonym and Little Italy are owned by husband and wife duo, Vikas and Vinita Passary. 

At the foot of the wooden stairs that lead to the store, you will see a log of wood with the name Anonym literally nailed into it. Neatly displayed designer clothing, wooden seating / flooring / shelves and black and grey walls complete the décor of this trendy women’s wear store.

What you get – Anonym was opened in October 2007 and has clothes from various designers like Varun Sardana, Kalol Datta, Anuj Sharma etc, apart from Anonym owner Vinita Passary. Vinita’s been in the fashion retail business since 2002 and had earlier started an ethnic wear store called Marichika. The store no longer exists but her workshop continues in the premises of Anonym.

The collection of attire for women here comprises tops, dresses, tunics, shirts, trousers, ethnic wear and more. The apparels are easy on the eye and comfortable to wear in fabrics like cotton, linen and georgette. From bold to subtle, the use of colors is not spared though white seems to be favored. The clothes sometimes give you a sense that Anonym’s exceptionally designed clothing is for the daring - with low cuts, lack of sleeves, bright hues and more.

Besides attire, Anonym has a collection of designer bags, shoes and an assortment of jewelry. Their big handbags in vibrant colors of red, yellow and gold are definitely eye-catching and fashionable. The assortment of jewelry includes interesting earrings, finger rings, bracelets and more.

Anonym also hosts various fun fashion events at its premises. Like the one that took viewers on a design trail, starting with the designer’s inspirations right through to the completed garment, all done visually.

Our verdict – Of course, the pricing at the store, being designer wear, is on the higher side. But if chic, stylish apparel and accessories that spell attitude are what you want, then Anonym will be right up your street. After all that shopping at Anonym, Little Italy is a good place to rest your tired feet and calm down your growling stomach. Parking space at Anonym is shared with Little Italy.
