What you see - Just beside the Lifestyle building at Begumpet is Clothing Deck. As you enter the store, glittering watches (both for men and women) of a wide variety catch your eyes. But don’t get confused, as Clothing Deck is not really a watch store. Explore the place and you will see apparels for women and kids on the ground floor and those for men on the first floor. As you move around you will realize that it caters to almost all the fashion needs of youngsters. You name it and they have it. All the sections in the store are neatly segregated so that you don’t get lost in the wide range of products they have.
What you get - Owned by Harsh Agarwal and Ram Agarwal, this store stocks clothes and accessories for men, women and kids. Starting from a simple kurta (around Rs. 245), the range extends to blazers (Rs. 1,800-3,000) and jackets. And if you are going abroad, this is the right store for you to buy winter wear. All through the year, this store stocks winter jackets available from Rs. 1,200-3,000. And if it’s a Ferrari Jacket that you are eyeing, that’s there too at around Rs. 1,500.
Jeans, trousers, shirts, T-shirts, shoes, sandals, slippers, watches, sunglasses, perfumes, deodorants, belts, purses…The list of clothes and accessories just goes on and on. Skull caps come in for as cheap as Rs. 150-300. Trendy watches are in abundance and the prices range from Rs. 300-1,200

The children’s section is by far the most economical and they have trendy sets of clothes on sale. Though there is officially no tailoring facility for children’s clothes available you can still coax them into making that perfect little suit for your little one for less than Rs. 1,000. Jeans, jackets, Superhero T-shirts/sunglasses and even Superman underclothes are available here. Since the clothes are imported do make sure they are tried on at least once before buying as the sizes could be inconsistent.
For women, the store may best be described as a budget clothing store. The store has a decent collection of blouses, T-shirts, casual/formal shirts, trousers and skirts. The range is quite fluid so there might be an abundance of crushed skirts one week and a great collection of formal trousers the next week. The choice and price range do not compare to say a Linking Road or a Janpat but if it is your lucky day you might just hit the jackpot and find the exact combination you were looking for. The store also has a good collection of accessories to go with the clothing especially junk jewelry.
Our verdict - The store is unique because of its wide variety of collection. They offer tailoring facilities too. So if you want tailor-made suits then 48 hours is all you have to wait for. Don’t look for brands here though. Most of the stuff is bought from China and Bangkok. Clothing Deck runs offers on an ongoing basis. So keep an eye for those. There is also a special membership scheme for customers buying products worth Rs. 1,000 and above. And put your worries aside for parking as it’s easily available for two-wheelers right in front of the store. For four-wheelers it’s just a stone’s throw away from the store.
