What you see - Located in Banjara Hills, this swanky lounge called Touch is replete with modern furniture and chic interiors. The nightspot is segregated into a restaurant area and a party place. As expected, the party place is more contemporary then the restaurant area.

The décor spells modernity and actually has a “Star Trek” feel, courtesy the ambient lighting and the beautifully-designed ceiling. The furniture is ultramodern and sitting areas offer a good blend of privacy and openness.

What you get - The USP of Touch is the awesome music played by DJ Yogi, a cult favorite in Hyderabad. It is a great mix of house, hip-hop as well as popular Bollywood tracks.

Touch has a cover charge of Rs. 1,000 per couple, which can be redeemed for drinks and food. The cost of spirits can run up to Rs. 300 and cocktails can go a little higher. Wines can take the bill amount to Rs. 2,000 and above. Touch also has a good selection of finger-foods from the Indian and Oriental cuisines. European food features heavily on the menu of the adjoining restaurant.

One thing that you need to be aware of is that entry is very strict at Touch. Only couples are allowed to enter on Wednesday and Saturday nights. As far as parking is concerned it is not an issue as valet facility is provided.

Our verdict - Touch is a great place to head to with friends. The ambience is futuristic and the music is great. There is no dance floor though. So if you’re in a mood to shake a leg, this isn’t the ideal place. It is precisely a great place to lounge.
